Artist's Description
Ogmore Castle is one of a group of small medieval castles scattered around the Gower Peninsula. Its main appeal for travel photographers is a series of stepping stones across the nearby river, and, like hundreds of photographers before me I drove to Ogmore fully intending to photograph the stepping stones with the castle in the background. What I found instead was even better - a wonderfully pastoral view of horses grazing in the fields and the afternoon sun hitting the castle in the distance.
