Moonrise over Loch Sunart, Highlands Canvas Print

I had been exploring the Ardnamurchan region for a week, and each time I drove past this lonely tree on a spit of land leading into Loch Sunart I felt inexorably drawn to it. Finally one morning I got up before dawn and drove to the shore of the loch. As luck would have it the moon was in a good sot in relation to the tee, and I was pretty pleased with the result.

I bought my first 'serious' camera for a trip to the UK when I was in my 20s. That trip sparked not only a love affair with photography but a love affair with the wonderful landscape and heritage of Britain. Those twin loves have inspired me over the past several decades, as I've explored Britain from Orkney to Cornwall, and most points in between.
