The Oxfordshire village of Minster Lovell is an outlier of the Cotswolds, as you can see by the number of golden-toned stone cottages that abound throughout the village. I passed this row of thatched cottages on a family walk along the River Windrush from Asthall to the ruined manor of Minster Lovell Hall on the east side of the village.
