St Michaels Mount Cornwall Canvas Print

I've photographed St Michael's Mount more times than I can remember, and each time offers up something magical. On this occasion a whole cluster of photographers were gathered around the causeway that leads to the castle, so rather than compete with them for a good view I wandered further along the shore until I found this lovely view, with the floodlit castle reflected in the still water of Mounts Bay.

I bought my first 'serious' camera for a trip to the UK when I was in my 20s. That trip sparked not only a love affair with photography but a love affair with the wonderful landscape and heritage of Britain. Those twin loves have inspired me over the past several decades, as I've explored Britain from Orkney to Cornwall, and most points in between.
