Dunvegan Castle rises from a basalt rock above the shore of Loch Dunvegan, on the west coast of the Isle of Skye. This beautiful castle has been the family home of the MacLeods for hundreds of years, and is one of the most perfectly situated castles in all of Scotland - at least if you'e an avid photographer like me!
