A picturesque footbridge crosses the River Windrush in the Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire, England. Bourton is known as 'the Venice of the Cotswolds' for its numerous footbridges crossing the river.

I bought my first 'serious' camera for a trip to the UK when I was in my 20s. That trip sparked not only a love affair with photography but a love affair with the wonderful landscape and heritage of Britain. Those twin loves have inspired me over the past several decades, as I've explored Britain from Orkney to Cornwall, and most points in between.
