A picturesque thatched cottage is reached by a footbridge in Helford, Cornwall, England. Helford is in the north-eastern corner of the Lizard peninsula, near the town of Helston.

I bought my first 'serious' camera for a trip to the UK when I was in my 20s. That trip sparked not only a love affair with photography but a love affair with the wonderful landscape and heritage of Britain. Those twin loves have inspired me over the past several decades, as I've explored Britain from Orkney to Cornwall, and most points in between.
